July 25, 2022 by Marin Leave a Comment

Robert Doyle gives Jamie Scardina a congratulatory hug.

The Marin County Board of Supervisors elevated Jamie Scardina to the sheriff of Marin County. He won election to the post in June, taking over from Robert Doyle who retired as of June 30. Doyle had held the position for 26 years.

Technically, Doyle’s term ends on Jan. 2, 2023. Sheriff Scardina will officially be sworn in then.
