On Jan. 26 just before 2 p.m., Marin County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Drake Avenue in Marin City for a reported stabbing.
Upon arrival, Deputies located the man unconscious and suffering from multiple stab wounds. Deputies provided life saving measures until the arrival of Marin County Fire and Southern Marin Fire Paramedics. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
Over the next several days, Detectives performed interviews and neighborhood canvases in an effort to locate video surveillance and determine who was responsible for the stabbing.
On Feb. 3, after what the Sheriff characterized in a press release as “extensive and thorough” investigation, detectives served a search warrant in Larkspur and Marin City, leading to the arrest of Julian Nicholas Wilson, 18, for attempted murder and Daeshawn Damarri Burr, 22, for destruction of evidence.
Wilson and Burr were booked into the Marin County Jail for the listed charges. Wilson is currently being held on $1,000,000 dollar bail and Burr was booked and released due to the zero bail structure.
