Guns and ammo found in a car parked in Marin City, above.

The Marin County Sheriff’s Department reported on social media today that just before midnight on June 3, a deputy on foot patrol in Marin City discovered a car with two people parked in front of an apartment complex.

Upon closer inspection, firearms were seen in the car. The pair were detained and the car was searched, revealing unregistered firearms with one pistol equipped with a “Glock switch,” meaning the weapon operated as an automatic weapon.

One of the persons in the car was a juvenile and the other was as adult. Names of the arrested were not released.
