Are you a veteran and a resident of Fairfax? Then the Town Council wants you.No, not like Uncle Sam once did. The town’s leaders want to honor and recognize all Fairfax residents who have served in the United State Armed Forces. It’s a tribute to the service veterans rendered to keep the nation and Fairfax safe. This opportunity is open to honorably discharged veterans who served in any branch of the United States Armed Forces. Veterans Day banners will be displayed on the streetlight posts along downtown and photos of veterans will be featured on the Town’s website in recognition of their service.Email your name and Armed Forces photo by Oct. 31, to be featured online. Copies can also be brought by Town Hall to be scanned
